Overview
Our client sought to remortgage their property amidst challenges including previous mortgage arrears and defaults, compounded by an income structure involving ownership of two limited companies, one of which had only a year of operating history.
Despite these complexities, we were able to utilise a strategic approach by considering the net profit before tax plus salary from both companies. This enabled us to secure a remortgage totalling £640,000 at a fixed rate of 6.04% over two years.
Outcome
The solution not only allowed the client to repay their current mortgage and fund essential home improvements, but also consolidate their financial commitments into a manageable single mortgage.
